I am a detail-oriented person by nature. This outfit for example is full of details like the zippers on my jeans and handbag, the crisscrossing of the leather straps on my booties, and the pop of color on these adorable earrings (borrowed from my sweet roommate, Brittany). I like unique touches because they have the ability to make an outfit more fun and interesting. I know I'm not alone in my desire for details because the Bible tells us we have a detail-oriented God. Psalm 37:23 says, "The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives."
How wonderful that we serve a God who loves us enough to care about the details of our lives! Not only does he simply care, he DELIGHTS in those details. Whenever you feel like something is too "small" for God, remember this verse and take comfort in knowing God desires to meet you in every situation, every detail of your life.
