Namaste! While we were in India we didn't have much "tourist" time but did enjoy a little shopping in the airport while we were waiting for our connecting flight to Doha. We all purchased scarves, jewelry and elephants for our loved ones. We're about to walk to our gate when what do you think we spotted? Oh just the most beautiful tunics and sarees! We couldn't help ourselves so we started sifting through all the colorful fabrics.
We are so excited to feature outfits inspired by an Indian tunic! Morgan showed how easily you can "westernize" it by belting it and wearing heels while Hannah kept it more traditional by pairing black pants and her favorite Croc sandals. There is so much color in India. Even in the dreariest places, those colors seem to brighten the surrounding. What a great reminder of how God adds color to our lives even when they feel monotonous and boring. Think about it… he created the rainbow as a covenant between us!
"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth. So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth." – Genesis 9:16-17
Our fabulous tunics were from a Indian clothing line called Haute Curry. Adorable name, right?
xoxo
