White As Snow

Angelic. Clean. Redeemed. Ethereal. Pristine. All words that come to mind with "white." I love the song "Nothing But the Blood" because it reminds me that only Jesus can redeem us from our sins and give us new life. Because Christ shed his blood for us, we are free to live not for ourselves but to further God's kingdom and find true freedom! This is something I feel renewed on a daily basis because sanctification is a process. I fall short daily, but as I strive to be more like Christ, He continues to clean and renew my soul! I may experience failure, but I'm reminded by scripture that Jesus purifies me daily making me pure and holy.

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. - Hebrews 9:13-14

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.- 1 John 1:9

About twice a week I have a meeting whether it's for a collaboration, introduction, client or interview. The prices are comparable to your favorite fast fashion stores and you won't waste any more money on mass-manufactured styles!

I fully support wearing white year-round, especially all white head-to-toe. With cooler weather approaching, you can't get any cooler than a complete white outfit. I realized I knew the "rule" but didn't know what it meant or where it originated. *Retiring your whites was more of a practical custom because those at the turn of the century that were returning from vacation and were headed back to work would retire their whites because they were their lighter, summer clothes and didn't want to ruin them come wet weather. Over the decades, the rule became obsolete to more affluent persons and fashion icons, such as Coco Chanel. If Coco says "I don't think so," then I will too!
