Glitz & Glam Girls Party

There's nothing like getting together with your girlfriends to spend time laughing and discussing the latest... Especially when the girls you’re gabbing with have similar passions and are rock star female entrepreneurs. Growing up, we were told we could be whatever we wanted, as we got older we were told as females we needed to prove ourselves in the workplace to get noticed, and somehow this bred us to step on each other as adults to make the cut. I’m happy to report that I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know some amazing women that care more about building each other up than tearing each other down. That’s what it should be all about right? Carrying each other to the top.

Whether at your workplace, church, school, or on social media, we should be celebrating each other’s strengths, not intimidated by what makes someone different than us. How about the moment you feel like sipping on a little "Haterade" you react by telling her something encouraging? Someone might say that’s disingenuous but if our culture celebrates judgment than what better way to turn that boat around than to practice being kind.

So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.
- Romans 14:19 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- Ephesians 4:29

Introducing these boss ladies from left to right.

Andrea, who is an amazing jewelry designer.
Jessica, the cutest blogger who recently moved to Denver from Chicago.
Natasha, the genius blogger behind this sweet, sparkly girl gathering.
Alison, the talented and gorgeous designer behind Peach & Pepper apparel.
Rebecca, my beautiful and talented cousin and fellow Dallas blogger.

Each of us girls have a love and passion for the fashion industry and we all contribute in our own way. Our personalities are different, we bring something new to the table and understand that the best way to see yourself succeed is by helping those around you.

Maybe this Valentine's Day, send the women in your life a little love note telling them what about them is special and highlight their strengths!

  1. Yeah, unique venues can be the perfect surroundings for a fall wedding ceremony or a reception party. Best Chicago venues provide a great opportunity to look ahead of the usual occasion spaces and that is why I always prefer hiring them.
